A person was taken to a hospital via helicopter after a Saturday evening ATV wreck on the 200 block of Snow Shoe Mountain Forest Road, according to the Snow Shoe Fire Company.
Coburn woman hurt in Route 45 crash
A 67-year-old Coburn woman suffered minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision on state Route 45 in Gregg Township. Silver B. Vermillion was traveling east about 2:45 p.m. Friday when her 2001 Subaru Outback struck a stopped Oldsmobile Alero. Police say the other driver, Sharon M. Horner, 48, of Spring Mills, was not injured.
Panel to offer master plan recommendations
The State College Area School District’s facilities master plan steering committee will present its recommendations to the school board at a public meeting at Mount Nittany Middle School at 7 p.m. today. The facilities master plan, which includes recommendations for the high school and elementary school buildings, is available at the district Web site, www.scasd.org. Break-ins reported at cabins
On Saturday, State College police received separate reports of break-ins at four cabins along Laurel Run and Corner roads. Two vehicles parked in that area overnight were also broken into.
Fraternities cited in fight
STATE COLLEGE — Two fraternities, at 305 E. Prospect Ave. and 524 Locust Lane, were cited for disorderly conduct after a large fight that took place about 1:45 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Locust Lane. Police received reports that about 40 people were involved in the fight. A 19-year-old man suffered a fractured left cheekbone.
Burglar breaks items in apartment
STATE COLLEGE — Police say a man entered an apartment at 420 S. Pugh St. and broke three televisions, a laptop and a printer shortly after midnight Sunday.

Notary seminars set for State College
The Pennsylvania Association of Notaries will hold the following educational seminars this month for State Col-lege- area notaries at the Comfort Suites, 132 Village Drive.
“First Time Notary” will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon April 28. It fulfills the three-hour mandatory education provision for new notaries. It includes instruction on notary public law, notarial powers, seal and register, electronic notarization and acceptable forms of identification. “Everyday Notary Challenges” will be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. April 28 and covers problem documents, wills, powers of attorney and mortgages. “Notary Reappointment,” which will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 29 fulfills the state’s educational requirement for reappointed notaries, including a session on identity theft. “Information Security and Identity Theft,” to be held from 1 to 4 p.m. that day, discusses ways an identity may be stolen, what can be done to avoid identity theft and how to recover after an identity theft occurs.
