A 15-year-old Boalsburg boy was transported via helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville after he and a 16-year-old boy were struck by a vehicle at West Whitehall Road near the Timothy Lane intersection in Ferguson Township.
Police say the incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, after the two boys ran out from a cornfield and in front of a vehicle operated by a 32-year-old woman from Pennsylvania Furnace. The 16 year old, of Pennsylvania Furnace, also suffered injuries. Ferguson Township police say they’re investigating the collision.
Police investigate burglary of home
Ferguson Township police are investigating a forced entry burglary in the 3200 block of Shellers Bend, which occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. The front door of a residence was forced open, and police say numerous items were removed.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 237- 1172 or Centre County Crimestoppers at 877-99CRIME. Crimestoppers will offer a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest.
