Milesburg hotel cited for liquor law violation
The Holiday Inn in Milesburg was cited by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for selling alcohol to two visibly intoxicated people March 7.
A press release states that the Boggs Township establishment served one man and one woman who were visibly intoxicated.
The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who could impose penalties ranging from $50 to $5,000, and can impose a license suspension or revocation, or mandate training.
Teen arrested in connection with threat
A teenage boy was cited by state police after they say he put a bomb threat note in the men’s restroom at Penns Valley Area High School, causing the school to be evacuated and searched on Monday.
Two other boys who had knowledge of the incident were charged with minor offenses, state police said.
The boy police think is responsible for placing the note was arrested and detained.
