closeThree Lifeflighted to hospital following crash
From CDT staff reports
Three people were flown by Lifeflight helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center with what state police termed "moderate" injuries following a two-car crash at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 150 at Grahams Lane in Beech Creek Township, Clinton County.
According to state police at Lamar, a 1998 Ford Focus driven by Hunter Hall, 19, of Lock Haven, was southbound on Route 150, and a 1997 Nissan truck driven by Gary Kitchen, 57, of Blanchard, was traveling north.
Hall told police he reached for a CD and took his eyes of the road. Police said his vehicle crossed the center line and struck Kitchen's truck head on.
Injured were Kitchen, Hall and a passenger in Kitchen's vehicle — Christopher Kitchen, 16, also of Blanchard.
No seat belts were in use in either vehicle, both of which sustained heavy damage, police said.
The investigation is continuing, state police said.
