closeA State College woman suffered minor injuries, state police said, following a crash on U.S. Route 322 near the state police's Philipsburg station in Rush township.
Pammie J. Irish, 47, was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, which occurred about 4 p.m. Monday. She was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.
The crash occurred when a westbound 1995 Ford Ranger driven by Justin O. Hubler, 30, of West Decatur, left the road for unknown reasons, traveled along the right berm, then spun out of control when Hubler tried to steer it back onto the road, police said. His vehicle entered the eastbound lane and struck Irish's oncoming vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox.
Hubler, who also was wearing a seat belt, was not injured, state police said. Both vehicles sustained severe damage.
