STATE COLLEGE — The weekend leading up to St. Patrick’s Day fell during the end of spring break at Penn State this year and was relatively quiet, according to State College police.
Police did respond to a 10-person fight at 2:05 a.m. Sunday, although the fight broke up as police arrived and no one was charged. According to State College police, the fight took place at 100 W. Beaver Ave. No one would come forward to say who was involved and there were non injuries, police said.
Between Friday and Sunday, State College police responded to two public drunkenness incidents, three fights and seven DUIs. Medical assistance was needed in response to two alcohol-related calls.
