closeRoute 322 delays expected next week
Drivers could encounter delays along U.S. Route 322 near Potters Mills next week, the state Department of Transportation announced.
On Tuesday, crews will be working from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to make base repairs from the Route 322/state Route 144 intersection at Potters Mills east to the start of the separated four-lane highway. The work zone will be about a mile in length and an alternating traffic pattern controlled by flagging will be in place.
Once base repairs are complete, crews will be paving the roadway . The paving will take place at night, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., according to PennDOT. This work also will be controlled by an alternating traffic pattern with flaggers. Message boards will be in place and state police will assist with traffic control.
The work along Route 322 is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Sept. 5.
