Penn State was held to just one field goal — Kevin Kelly, 50 yards — in the first quarter before piling on the points in the second quarter.
Derrick Williams’ 63-yard punt return lifted the Lions to 17-0 before Wisconsin answered on a 10-play, 85-yard drive.
Penn State added to the lead after Josh Hull recovered a fumble by Wisconsin quarterback Allan Evridge late in the second quarter.
The Nittany Lions continued to dominate in the third quarter, mounting two sustained drives for touchdowns and held the Badgers to a three-and-out.
Kelly added another field goal late in the third to make it 41-7, and Pat Devlin scored on a short run to make it 48-7.
PSU moves to 7-0 and hosts Michigan next Saturday.
Wisconsin now has three Big Ten losses.
