MILLHEIM — A store on West Main Street in Millheim was burglarized sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Saturday, Rockview state police reported.
Cash, a safe, a handgun and cigarettes were stolen from Reggies Quick Stop at 184 W. Main St., police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 355- 7545.
State police searching for stolen vehicle
MILESBURG — Rockview state police are looking for a black Pontiac Aztek that was stolen from Turnpike Street in Milesburg around 5:20 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the 2004 Rally Edition vehicle has a missing “Y” on the back of the vehicle and has Pennsylvania tags, with the registration number GXH 9604.
Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 355- 7545.
Visitor reports unleashed dogs on PSU campus
UNIVERSITY PARK — A visitor on Penn State’s campus reported to university police that three unleashed dogs threatened his two dogs Friday near Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, leading to an argument between the owners.
Police say the visitor made contact with the owner of the three dogs, and that led to a “heated argument.”
But there was no description of the suspect or vehicle given to police.
This happened around 12:15 p.m.
Former Penn State student reports fraud
UNIVERSITY PARK — A former Penn State student reported to university police Friday that he had given $15,000 to someone to invest but later found out the investment was fraudulent. Police are investigating.
