Man allegedly bares it all at Hills Plaza

- sganim@centredaily.comSTATE COLLEGE — A Lemont man who has served several jail sentences since 1995 for masturbating in public was again charged with that crime Monday morning after State College police say he was seen exposing himself in the South Hills Plaza.
Kelvin J. Flory was wearing only socks around 9:15 a.m. when police were called to the parking lot, where police say Flory had been seen by several people eating at Mc- Donald’s and shopping at other stores.
Flory ran for several hundred yards before being caught by State College police officers.
District Judge Jonathan Grine arraigned Flory on charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct, and sent him to jail on $15,000 cash bail.
According to court records, Flory has done several stints in both county jail and state prison for related crimes since 1995. Court records show 10 other court cases related to charges of open lewdness and indecent assault.
Many of the incidents happened in parking lots in State College, Bellefonte or Boalsburg, records show, and Flory has addresses listed in Lemont, Julian and State College.

Flory was arrested twice in 1995, once in 1999 and 2001, and three times in 2004 and 2007. He was sentenced three times to serve a one-to two-year state prison sentence for exposing himself.
Flory is scheduled to be in court Jan. 20 for a preliminary hearing.
