ALAN SEEGER NATURAL AREA
East of State College on U.S. Route 322 to Bear Meadows Road; turn south on Bear Meadows Road at the sign for Tussey Mountain Ski Resort; six miles south along this road, one mile past the Detweiler Run Natural Area. Hiking and picnicking.
BALD EAGLE STATE PARK

BEAR MEADOWS NATURAL AREA

BLACK MOSHANNON STATE PARK

PENN-ROOSEVELT STATE PARK

POE VALLEY STATE PARK

R.B. WINTER STATE PARK

ROTHROCK STATE FOREST
Off U.S. Route 322 south of State College, covers about 95,000 acres of forest in Centre, Huntingdon and Mifflin counties; the well-known overlook atop Tussey Mountain along state Route 26 at the Centre-Huntingdon county line. Two designated pavilion areas with multiuse trails. 643-2340.
SHAVERS CREEK ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER

STONE VALLEY RECREATION AREA
