A production crew from the Investigation Discovery channel series Disappeared will be filming in State College next week for a segment on the disappearance of former District Attorney Ray Gricar.
The show profiles missing persons cases Mondays at 10 p.m., and the third season is set to premier in January. The profile of Gricar will be air sometime during that season, said Debbie Gottschalk, publicist for the channel.
Gricar vanished April 15, 2005, after taking a day off from work. He took a drive through Brush Valley, and his car ended up in a parking lot in Lewisburg. His county-issued laptop was later found in the Susquehanna River, too damaged to provide any information.
Current District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller opened a task force in March to dig deeper into the case, which she said still gets tips even though most are issues that have been already investigated, or led nowhere.
