We spend some quality time each day with kid writing. It's journal writing, but with quite a bit of teacher direction.
Many times, however, the children get involved with helping each other when they are trying to spell words on their own.
Today, one of our girls was helping a little fella write about his picture.
I overheard her say with enthusiasm, "Oh, YOU know how to make an R! It's a P...a P with a KICK!"
I packed her bags- she's moving into the gifted class. ( :-) )
