The State College PTO/PTSO and the State College Area Education Association announces the first annual

““How Has a

TEACHER

Opened Your

World?”

Our public schools reflect our global community. Therefore, we invite students in the State College Area School District, kindergarten through 12th grade, to participate in our creative expressions contest. Submissions may be in any creative form, including, but not limited to artwork, written work, musical displays, and video or still photography. Let your imagination guide you in expressing...

How a Past or Present Teacher has been the KEY to Opening Your World By:

Teaching you HOW TO LIVE peacefully within our community by learning to get along with all people. Teaching you to be an EDUCATED CITIZEN of the world and/or an active member of the environment.

Teaching you how to EMBRACE CHALLENGES and reach your full potential. Or, create your own topic! (The topic must reflect “Opening your world”).

Submissions are due Friday April 15, 2011. Each entry must include a cover sheet - please include your name, grade level, school and phone number. All entries must be submitted to: Linda Andrews: Houserville Elementary, 217 Scholl Street; State College, PA 16801 or sent electronically to lka11@scasd.org. Prizes and recognition will be awarded to one student per grade and the teacher who is recognized by the student.
