April 16, 2011 — You know how it is with people at work. You don't really know each other all that well, for the most part. It gets too complicated if you do. But there are always people who brighten your day and Dave is one of them for me. He recently returned from a trip to South Africa and brought me something worth its weight in gold. SALT. But a salt I've never seen. It's a flaked salt, great huge crystals so big you can lift one out and snack on it and feel it melt on your tongue. This salt is flavored with chilies, lime and coriander and tastes like a gourmet nacho chip without the gritty reality of the corn. I don't know what I'll use it on yet, but look forward to experimenting. Thanks, Dave.
