Workshop to offer tips on research proposals

Penn State’s Small Business Development Center is offering a two-day training workshop for entrepreneurs, researchers and faculty who want to submit Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer proposals to secure funding within the next year.

“The Secrets to Winning SBIR and STTR Proposals: A Technology and Commercialization Conference” will be held Wednesday and Thursday at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.

The workshop will be led by Roger S. Cohen, principal of Cohen International, a government contracting consultant and international business development firm. Cohen will coach entrepreneurs through the proposal development process. One-hour individual consulting sessions are available to qualified entrepreneurs at no cost on Friday.

The seminar costs $75 per person for both days or $50 per person for one day. Preregistration is required. Interested participants can call 863-4293 or register online at www.sbdc.psu.edu/ seminar-registration.asp.
