The Philipsburg-Osceola Lady Mounties took an early lead and made it hold up, beating Brandywine Heights 1-0 for the PIAA Class AA state championship at Nittany Lion Softball Park.

It's the second PIAA softball title for P-O. The Lady Mounties end the season at 25-1.

For P-O Coach Jim Gonder, it's his 514th career win.
