Two 20-year-old Penn State football players have received citations after police found them in possession of bottles of rum and brandy in July.
According to the state police’s Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Curtis Dukes, of Evans Mills, N.Y., and Andre Dupree, of Waldorf, Md., paid another teammate — Stephfon Green — to buy them liquor on July 15 at the North Atherton Street state liquor store.
An undercover Liquor Control Enforcement officer saw Green take money from Dukes and Dupree that he used to buy the liquor, police said. Green was charged Tuesday with furnishing alcohol to minors, a misdemeanor.
Police said Dukes and Dupree admitted they gave Green money for the alcohol.
According to the citation, Dukes and Dupree were in possession of five bottles of rum and brandy.
