BELLEFONTE — A New York man who police said posted naked pictures of his ex-girlfriend to a website and wouldn’t stop contacting her has been charged with stalking and harassment.

State College police said Ross L. Wolfe, 27, of Richmond, N.Y., created the website after the woman told him she didn’t want anything to do with him and began dating someone else. The website had naked photos and “lewd and revealing comments” about the woman, police said.

Police said Wolfe told the woman about the site, and she asked him to take it down. He didn’t and kept calling her, so she called police on May 25.

When police contacted Wolfe, he admitted making the site and agreed to remove it. Police said they told him not contact the woman.

In August, Wolfe admitted to calling her again, leaving her voice mail messages and threatening to revive the website. At that point, police told him he was facing criminal charges.

Police said Wolfe then contacted the woman again, asking her to drop the charges.

Wolfe waived his right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
