Limbaugh, Yoder pace Rams in loss

SPRING MILLS — Alyssa Limbaugh and Kaelyn Yoder each had top-three finishes for Penns Valley but State College’s overall depth prevailed Tuesday afternoon with a 25-30 victory over the Lady Rams.

Limbaugh was the overall winner in the double-dual meet with Hollidaysburg, turning in a time of 20 mintues, 55 seconds. The Lady Tigers’ Lauren Pheasant was second in 21:06 and Yoder took third in 21:24.

State College took six of the top 10 times, with Elaine Hinrichs in fifth in 22:13, followed by Jade Goldfine (22:19), Gina Toretti (22:22), Marie Matthews (22:25), Kate Neese (22:26) and Emily Sausman (22:56).

The Lady Little Lions and Lady Rams each beat Hollidaysburg 15-50.
