Penn State interim football coach Tom Bradley said Thursday during a news conference in Beaver Stadium that offensive assistants Mike McQueary and Jay Paterno will be coaching Saturday.

Bradley added that any decisions about McQueary's coaching future would be made by the administration. Penn State interim athletic director Mark Sherburne introduced Bradley and gave an opening statement Thursday morning but did not take questions and left Beaver Stadium at the conclusion of Bradley's news conference.

Bradley said that defensive line coach Larry Johnson and linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden will be co-defensive coordinators. Graduate assistant Elijah Robinson, a former defensive lineman, has been promoted to a full-time assistant coach.

McQueary, the team's wide receivers coach, typically spends game days on the sideline and is responsible for relaying many of the calls from offensive coordinator Galen Hall and Jay Paterno, who coach from the press box, to the players.

Bradley said that the decision to have McQueary coach from the sideline Saturday will be a game-time decision and that if he does coach from the press box, graduate assistant Terrell Golden will fulfill McQueary's usual sideline roles.
