Don’t turn your back on children;
Hear what they have to say.
Ignoring it won’t help it
Or make it go away.
It’s so hard to believe
That those they trust and love
Could abuse such little children.
I just pray the Lord above
Will help them to survive this…
Get over the hurt and pain,
Not keep it deep within them,
Thinking they’re the ones to blame.
When guilty ones walk freely,
The innocent children pay.
And, the hurt they have inside them
Stays with them night and day.
