Notes: The Lady Bulldogs will have a new home court this season, moving from their long-time home at the Bellefonte YMCA to the Park Forest Baptist Church. ... CCCA returns three starters in point guard Becky Maholic and forwards Rachel Campbell and Savannah Weaver. ... At 5-foot-9, Campbell is team’s tallest player and was team’s leading scorer last season at just over 9 ppg. ... Major weakness of recent seasons has been 3-point shooting. CCCA made just three as a team all last season, all by Becky Maholic. She has been working on her 3-point shooting all offseason. ... Among newcomers is 5-8 seventh-grader Allison Rossman. ... Among other guards are Alexis Rossman and newcomers Cherish Crust, Hannah Boughton and Abby Maholic.

Coach Maholic says: “The core is really young and inexperienced, but we have some really strong players who are really looking forward to the season. ... We’re adding in some younger players who are still learning the fundamentals and learning to enjoy the game.

“It’s exciting to see how positive the group is. They’re learning so much about being on the court, learning teamwork, learning their limits and setting goals.”
