Coach Myers says: “We have a pretty good group of guards. Lauren is good to handle the ball, handle the pressure and run the offense.

“A lot of the girls I coaches last year with the JV, so they’re familiar with my philosophies to be successful. Lauren has done a great job as captain. She’s doing well with the young girls and they understand it’s going to take some time. ... They have a great attitude that the team is first and they have really bought into the system.”
