Coach Herto says: “Jillian is a leader by example and I know at times for her its frustrating. But if I’m going to have only one senior, this is the one to have. She’s a hard worker and there are no excuses from this kid. That’s our team motto for this year: No excuses.

“I’m not going to sugarcoat it for them. They know where we stand. We have to outwork teams where we play don’t have ability right now. It’s the only thing we control right now, and there’s no reason we can’t outwork who we play. I’m confident in the system and how we play. How long will it take? We’ll see.”
