Notes: In the Lady Storm’s second season under Campbell, they are anticipating another strong season. ... Grace Prep is off to 2-1 start to the season. ... Home games will be played at C3 Sports. ... With limited gym availability for practices, the team did not get a great deal of preparation for the season, so Campbell thinks it will take a while for the girls to round into form and has contributed to a “sloppy” start to the season. ... Team returns three starters, but rest of returnees only saw limited court time. ... Senior Kara Campbell shared the team lead in scoring last season. Coach Campbell expects Kara Camp-bell’s average to drop a little this season as she takes on a greater role at point guard. ... Freshman Taylor Campbell has been the leading scorer in early games this season. ... In four-guard offense, other starters include Allison Spang, Kalki Streit and post Chelsea Crowell. ... Ellie Seibel and Autumn Gresh are expected to make strong contributions off the bench.

Coach Campbell says: “Only three people had substantial minutes last year and it definitely has been an issue in our opening games. We were sloppy. We’re hoping to fix that further into the season.

“As the season goes on we’lll improve. Last year we improved steadily and we’ll get to be the best we can be four tournament time.”
