Jay Gray, an NBC correspondent, received a DUI at 1:25 a.m. on Dec. 12, while driving on Interstate 99 in Patton Township, according to state police at Rockview.

Gray, 48, of Garland, Texas, had just left the home of Joe Amendola, the lawyer representing accused child molester Jerry Sandusky, according to TMZ.com, a website that reports on celebrities and entertainment news.

According to TMZ, Gray and other reporters were at Amendola’s house to watch the New York Giants football game. They were reportedly “vying for an exclusive interview with Sandusky.”

Calls to Amendola and NBC were not returned late Tuesday afternoon.

According to the state police report, Gray was stopped for traffic violations at mile marker 71 in the southbound lanes of I-99. The report said that Gray had been drinking and was arrested for DUI.
