The Penn State Student United Way will host the annual winter Trash to Treasure sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 4 at 108 Fisher Hall on the Penn State campus.

An offshoot of the larger Trash to Treasure sale held in the spring, the winter sale is a Student United Way project that follows the same basic idea. Students leaving the area in December had the opportunity to donate unwanted items to the sale. Items available at very affordable prices include clothing, TVs, shoes, computers, rugs, household items and more. Donated food will be given to local food banks.

All proceeds from the winter sale benefit the 40 Centre County United Way partner agencies. For more information, visit www.trashtotreasure.psu.edu or www.ccunitedway.org.
