WILLIAMSPORT State College used a fast start and sharp long-range shooting to end its five-game losing streak, beating Williamsport 65-53 Wednesday night.
The Lady Little Lions (9-8), who jumped ahead 23-11 in the first eight minutes, took control behind the 3-point arc with seven treys as a team. Franki Treglia, Jenna Altomare and Bridget King each drilled a pair of threes and Allie Baney added the other one.
Altomare led the way with 18 points, while King tossed in 17. Treglia added eight points and Baney had seven.
Rachel Fatherlys 26 points led the Millionaires (8-9) and Aisha Evans scored 16 points.
