Leo Brindel and his family would like to express their deep appreciation to everyone for their sympathy, prayers and many acts of kindness during this tragic time in our lives.

The loss of Kate and Doug has been a difficult time for our family and your caring has been a blessing for us all. Please include Trinity United Methodist Church in Woodward as a consideration for a memorial contribution in memory of Kate. Thank you all again.

Thank you to everyone living on Main Street and in Pleasant Hills in Pleasant Gap for donating pet food toward our Scouting for Pet Food Silver Award Project, which benefited the Pets Come First in Centre Hall.

Thanks to your generosity, we collected approximately 250 items. We really appreciate your generosity and we hope you do it for another Girl Scout troop in the future.

Easter Seals and the State Theatre extend a sincere thank you to the musicians, sponsors, volunteers and the committee that helped to make “Heart of Gold, the Music of Neil Young,” performed by our local musicians on Feb 28, a rousing success.

A total of $32,000 was raised for Easter Seals and the State Theatre. The collaboration of talented musicians, Easter Seals staff, the State Theatre staff, and volunteers using the State Theatre highlighted what is best about the Centre Region: groups working together, through volunteerism and philanthropy, to better our community and improve the services we provide to our residents.

We look forward to a fantastic repeat performance, Jan 25-26, 2013.

Roy M. Love, State Theatre president; Liz Wainright, Easter Seals; and Jason McIntyre, music producer
