There’s no need to get agitated about America’s world influence waning. When that happened in Britain after World War II, money once used on being the world’s policeman was used at home to improve education and provide national health care.
The result was that life got much better for ordinary British people. If we look at what is happening now in the United States, wouldn’t that be a good thing?
