A group thats been pushing for change on the Penn State board of trustees has picked three candidates to back in the upcoming election.
Participants in Penn Staters for Responsible Stewardship used online voting to choose: Mark Connolly, a West Chester resident who is a global intellectual property director at DuPont; Barbara Doran, a New York resident and private wealth manager at Morgan Stanley; and Anthony Lubrano, a Glenmoore resident and president of a retirement and wealth management firm.
Three of the nine Penn State trustees seats held by alumni are up for election this year. So far, about 30 graduates have publicly announced plans to run for those seats.
