On Wednesday the Organizing for America Pennsylvania (OFA PA) staff and volunteers hosted a grand opening of their Centre County Field Office in State College. They were joined by Mayor Goreham, County Commissioner Michael Pipe and other local elected officials.

The office will serve as the community hub for the organization’s activities in Centre County, and is the sixth OFA PA office opening in the state for the 2012 election cycle.

OFA PA has been organizing in the state since early 2009 and is a state-based, grassroots organization committed to re-electing President Obama and boosting Democrats statewide through voter registration, voter education and field organizing efforts.
