Penn State men honored in Big Ten weekly gymnastics

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State junior Felix Aronovich and freshman Tristan Duverglas were recognized with Big Ten weekly gymnastics honors for their performances in the No. 3 Nittany Lions’ 350.5-323.5 win over Springfield College last weekend. Aronovich was named Big Ten Co-Gymnast of the Week while Duverglas earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week accolades.

Aronovich had four top-three finishes to lead the Nittany Lions to their highest dual meet score this season. Aronovich’s winning parallel bars score (15.000), was a season high, while his 14.900 winning high bar mark was a personal best. He was second in the pommel horse (14.900) and third in the rings (15.000)

Duverglas won the vault with a 15.000, his third consecutive meet win.
