WILLIAMSPORT — Bellefonte’s turnover troubles Monday night led to another loss as the Lady Red Raiders fell 64-29 to Williamsport.

Bellefonte had 16 first-half turnovers and only trailed 26-13 at the break, but the Millionaires’ pressure defense in the third quarter blew the game open for a 49-21 lead with eight minutes left.

“They turned up the pressure and we really started turning it over,” Bellefonte coach Roger Herto said. “They were going to the bucket hard. They really took it to us in the third quarter and we didn’t respond.”

Sara Caldana’s six points and Lindsey Robb’s five points led the Lady Raiders (4-17), who close their season at Central Mountain on Wednesday.

Rachel Fatherly’s 20 points and Canisha Belle’s 14 paced Williamsport (9-11), which closed its regular season Monday.
