Apparently, Patrick Chambers felt a little badly about the way Saturday's win over Nebraska turned out for Penn State's fans.

Or maybe the Nittany Lions' basketball coach is just in the Valentine's Day spirit.

Either way, Chambers will be at the McDonald's on College Avenue from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday giving out free Big Macs to the first 200 Penn State students who bring a ticket stub from Saturday's 67-51 defeat of Nebraska in the Bryce Jordan Center or wear a Nittany Nation T-shirt.

Penn State has had a season-long promotion that allows fans to redeem ticket stubs from home games for free Big Macs every time the Nittany Lions score 70 points or more. Penn State had 67 points with just over two minutes remaining in Saturday's game but Chambers, who had a big lead and didn't want to show up Nebraska's Doc Sadler, pulled his starters and instructed his backups to hold the ball for the final possession.
