A Montoursville man was arrested on a DUI charge after police said he passed out from huffing propane while driving Friday afternoon on Interstate 99 in Spring Township.

State police at Rockview said Brian P. Hazlewood, no age available, was driving north on I-99 when he passed out and his vehicle went into the median. The vehicle crossed the northbound lane and went off the shoulder where it struck a fence and a tree.

Police did not say if he suffered any injuries. It wasn’t known Sunday if he was jailed after his arrest.
