One of the best linebacking combinations in Penn State history will team up again at the pro level.
Former Penn State linebacker Dan Connor will join former teammate Sean Lee in Dallas after agreeing to a contract with the Cowboys on Thursday.
Connor had spent his first four seasons as a pro with the Carolina Panthers. He started 19 games there during the last two seasons, making 75 tackles as the middle linebacker in Ron Rivera's 4-3 defense in 2011.
Connor will most likely play alongside Lee, who had a tremendous second season with the Cowboys (105 tackles), in defensive coordinator Rex Ryan's 3-4.
