A stone marker has been placed at the grave of Joe Paterno, the longtime Penn State football coach and philanthropist.

He died Jan. 22 after a battle with lung cancer, and a little more than two months after being removed as coach as part of the university's response to the Jerry Sandusky child abuse scandal.
