HOWARD Clay Smith blasted a three run home run in the first inning to help carry Howard to a 14-4 win over Blanchard in Centre County League baseball on Thursday night.
Kyle Womer had two triples and two RBIs for the Hawks (2-1), while Evan Gettig collected two hits.
Brett Heggenstaller hit a double and Ryan Watkins has two hits for the Bees.
Howard hosts Spring Mills at 6 p.m. on Tuesday night, while the Bees host Philipsburg.

UNIONVILLE Spring Mills earned their first victory of the season by overcoming an early 3-1 deficit to defeat the Cardinals.
Kevin Conklin helped out the winning effort by blasting a two run home run, while Cody Young had a double and Mike Vogt, Brady Waltz and Brandon Quay all had hits for the Braves (1-3).
Derek Jabco had two doubles and Mike Lutz had a double and a single for the Cardinals (0-3).
Unionville travels to Mifflin County on Tuesday.
