In jungles and deserts
on land and at sea,
they have often paid the price
to preserve our liberty.
No matter their rank
or the branch which they served,
they are all considered Heroes
an honor well deserved.
Since the birth of our nation
we have truly been blessed,
with many brave men and women
who still remain the world’s best
Today we honor our loved ones
and remember those who have died,
we say a prayer for the fallen
for whom others still cry.
