As part of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the SeniorLAW Center and Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly will hold a conference Friday at The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.
The conference is the last of four around the state, and will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help raise awareness of abuse and neglect of older adults. It is free for members of organizations serving senior victims and $25 for others.
Centre County participants include state police Trooper Jeff Petucci and Shirley Springman, aging care manager for the county Office of Aging.
