BELLEFONTE — Bellefonte pounded out 16 hits on Wednesday and used superb defense to cruise past Clarence 16-5 in American Legion baseball action.

Dylan Deitrich picked up the win on the mound for the Bandits, backed by a defense which committed only one error in the game. Seth Weaver, Colton Housel, Matt Kyper, Kevin Tate and Zach Williams all recorded multiple- hit games for the Bandits.

Bellefonte jumped out to a 12-2 lead after three innings, as Clarence put together a three-run fourth sparked by a Jeff Koleno RBI hit.

Tanner Light took the loss for Clarence.
