Man cited after gravel falls out of truck into car windshield

A Boalsburg man was cited for not securing the load in his pick-up truck after the gravel he was carrying came out of the truck and struck the windshield of a police car, according to state police at Rockview.

The crash occurred just before 9 a.m. Tuesday as the 34-year-old police official followed Jeffrey Irwin, 53, on southbound Interstate 99. Neither driver was injured.
