Runner struck by car, suffers minor injuries

A Howard man was clipped by a car and injured while jogging along Old U.S. Route 220 in Boggs Township.

State police at Rockview said Albert Carusone, 63, was jogging along the road around 6:13 a.m. Saturday, when a passing vehicle struck him in the elbow with its side mirror.

Carusone suffered what police called minor injuries. The identify of the driver is unknown, police said.
