State College police are looking for a woman who used a counterfeit travelers check at the Nittany Mall.
Police said the light-skinned black woman, described as about 5 feet 5 inches tall and having a medium build, paid for merchandise and received change from the $100 check at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the malls CVS drugstore.
She had tried unsuccessfully to use the check at another local CVS.
