Three women have been charged with assault after state police said they got into a fight late Monday night that woke up their neighbors near Centre Hall.
According to the charging documents, the fight between 24-year-old Megan Lynn, of Centre Hall and sisters Hollie and Kellie Grinzo, both of Monroe Township, N.J., was over a Facebook message that Lynn's sister got.
Police didn't say what the message was about, but whatever it was caused an argument that started between Lynn and Hollie Grinzo, 20, at Lynn's residence, 104 Susan St.
Kellie Grinzo told police that she jumped in the fight and punched Lynn because Lynn hit her sister.
Police said they found Lynn with a lot of blood on her head. Kellie Grinzo had a cut on her arm.
All three women have been charged with misdemeanor simple assault and disorderly conduct. They all also face charges of theft and receiving stolen property. According to the charges, about $75 in change and a pack of cigarettes was taken from a vehicle in the neighborhood.
They are due in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.
