Penn State men's hockey adds to staff

— Penn State has added a new head strength and conditioning coach, equipment manager and athletic trainer to its staff for the coming season.

Robert McLean will be the leader in strength and conditioning after previously working with the Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers and New Jersey Devils. Adam Sheehan will be the equipment manager after previously serving with the Carolina Hurricanes, Detroit Red Wings and Phoenix Coyotes. The athletic trainer will be Justin Rogers, who worked with the Chicago Bears.

The Nittany Lions also announced an expanded role for director of hockey operations Bill Downey, a former standout with the Icers club program, and the addition of Josh Hand as volunteer assistant coach. Downey will add video coaching responsibilities to his duties.
