A State College man was convicted of his second DUI on Tuesday.

Brandon Susich, 29, was arrested in November 2010 after a traffic stop in downtown State College after an officer saw him turn left through a red light. The officer smelled alcohol on Susich, who also appeared to be drunk and had slurred speech.

At the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Susich refused to provide a blood sample.

Susich’s first DUI conviction was in 2007 in Palm Beach County, Fla., according to charging documents.

Susich is scheduled for sentencing on Sept. 17 by Judge Pamela Ruest.
