Auditor General to announce today recommendations for Penn State governance reform

Published: July 25, 2012

State Auditor General Jack Wagner will hold a press conference in Harrisburg today to discuss recommendations for reforms of Penn State’s governance.

“Wagner is completing a comprehensive major report on recommendations for reforming Penn State’s governance following the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal,” an announcement from his office said.

The recently released Louis Freeh report offered more than 100 of its own recommendations for changes in governance and policy at Penn State after condemning university leadership for covering up Sandusky’s actions.

The press conference will take place at 11 a.m. in the Capitol Media Center, in the East Wing of the capitol building.
